Garmin GPSMAP 521 S with G2 Vision VEU716L cartography. Garmin GPSMAP 521 S GPSMAP 521 S is the new chartplotter which has a 5” QVGA display and a great brightness with substantial improvement of the engineering concept of the product with the scope of greatly improving the redesigning performance and zoom speed of the maps. It is completely waterproof (IPX7) and has a highly sensitive internal GPS receiver for an even faster satellite acquisition. The chartplotter is equipped with a pre-charged world nautical basemap and has an extremely easy user interface. 521 S has an integrated digital fishfinder that can go to a maximum depth – in ideal conditions – of 450 meters (with dual frequency transducer) for a clear display of the seabed, fish, submerged vessels, etc. Above all, the real novelty is that this model is compatible with a variety of sensors and NMEA 2000 components, including all the nautical sensors and autopilot Garmn line compatibile with NMEA 2000. By then adding the BlueChart "G2 Vision" cartography, the various functions can only enhance the features of the product: BlueChart g2 Vision allow a realistic 3-D display of the surrounding environment with Mariner’s Eye e Fish Eye views. Furthermore, the exclusive Auto Guidance functions included in the BlueChart G2 Vision shows the best route and is also compatible with the Garmin autopilots of the GHP™ series.
